KM FOT DISPERSANT is a liquid compound containing solvents, dispersants, surface-active agents and biocides which effectively solves the effects of fuel’s instability and incompatibility when different fuels are blended. During blending, normally suspended and relatively stable asphaltenes can precipitate from the fuel and form fuel sludge.
Το KM FOT DISPERSANT is completely oil - soluble and can be added by a metering pump or added to the settling tank. The dosage depends upon the quality of the fuel to be treated.
As a general guide, initial dosage recommendation for untreated fuel or when a problem with compatibility/stability occurs, is 1 liter of KM FOT DISPERSANT for 6.000 liters of heavy fuel oil.
