It is used in aviation fuel, diesel, fuel oil, biofuels and oils as a preservative of the growing of microorganisms or as a biocide to kill microorganisms present in contaminated fuels or oils. 

Recommended Dosage

As a preservative in non-contaminated oil & fuel: 1 liter in 20.000 fuel liters 

As a biocide in contaminated oil & fuel: 1 liter in 8.000 fuel liters
